Ensuring the reliable operation of our EV charging stations is a top priority for EVCS. If you, as a site host, notice any issues with the chargers on your property, it's crucial to report them to us promptly so that our Network Operations team can investigate and resolve them efficiently.

Report a Charging Station Issue

When submitting a maintenance request, providing comprehensive details is essential for our team to understand the problem and take appropriate action. Please ensure your report includes the following information:

Essential Details for Reporting Station Issues

  • Station ID: This unique identifier is typically located below the QR code on the front of each charging station. Please provide the complete Station ID to help us pinpoint the exact unit experiencing the problem.

  • Specific Description of the Issue: Clearly and concisely describe the nature of the problem you are observing. Avoid vague terms and provide as much detail as possible.

    Examples of Clear Descriptions:

    • "Station ID [Insert Station ID]: The charger screen is blank and unresponsive."
    • "Station ID [Insert Station ID]: The connector on port A appears to be damaged – the release lever is broken."
    • "Station ID [Insert Station ID]: The station is displaying an error message that reads 'Cable Fault' on the screen."
    • "Station ID [Insert Station ID]: The charging session stopped unexpectedly for a driver using port B." (If possible, include the approximate time this occurred).
    • "Station ID [Insert Station ID]: There is physical damage to the pedestal – it appears to have been hit."
  • Visual Evidence (Recommended): If possible, please attach a photograph or a short video that clearly demonstrates the issue you are reporting. 

By providing these essential details, you enable our Network Operations team to efficiently assess the situation, prioritize the repair, and restore the charging station to full functionality as quickly as possible.
